About

Stintdle is a site of daily mini-games about endurance motorsport: WEC, IMSA, the European Le Mans Series, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and related series. Every day, players everywhere get the same puzzle (the day is computed in UTC): guess a driver, a circuit, a car or a year.

The nine mini-games

• Classic Guess: five coloured clues (nationality, team, class, podiums, status).
• Emoji Guess: a driver summed up in five emojis.
• Career Path: the stages of a driver's career.
• Higher/Lower: more or fewer class podiums than the previous driver?
• Stat-Grid: a nationality × class grid to fill in.
• Circuit: a famous spot that zooms out.
• Silhouette: a car recognised by its outline alone.
• Zoomed Livery: a livery detail that zooms out.
• Year: the year of a livery, within five years.

Where the data comes from

The data (drivers, teams, careers, circuits, liveries) is entered by hand from public sources (official series and team websites, Wikipedia, racing statistics sites). A piece of data without enough sources is dropped rather than guessed. Class podiums are a documented minimum: they are estimated values that may be inaccurate or incomplete. Spotted a mistake? Use the "Report a problem" button: a correction is only applied when two sources agree or an official count exists.

Independence

Stintdle is an independent project, not affiliated with the WEC, IMSA, the FIA, the ACO, the circuits, teams, manufacturers or drivers mentioned. Their names are only used to refer to facts.

Supporting the project

The site is free. It may show advertising (with your consent) and accepts donations through Ko-fi. Monetisation always comes second to the gameplay.
