Privacy policy
This page explains what data is processed when you use Stintdle. The data controller is the publisher of the site. For any request, use the "Report a problem" button or the contact details in the legal notice.
In short
- No account, no password: no personal data about players is stored in the database.
- Your progress stays in your browser; it is not sent to the server.
- Audience measurement and advertising only run with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The data and why
How the game works (storage on your device)
Your browser keeps your progress for the day (your tries, the games you have finished) and your language. This information stays on your device and is only used to make the game work. It is essential to the service and does not require consent. You can erase it by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Technical logs
Like any host, Vercel Inc. records technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) for security and for the service to run properly. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to know which pages are visited and how the site performs. Google then receives information about your visit (browser identifier, pages viewed, device, country). Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time from the "Cookies" page.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
If advertisements are displayed, they only load with your consent. Google may then set trackers to display and measure ads, possibly personalised. Legal basis: your consent. Without your consent, no advertisement loads and no advertising tracker is set.
Reports (Tally)
If you report a problem, you are sent to a form hosted by Tally (tally.so). You voluntarily enter a text, and optionally a link, a screenshot and your e-mail; the page, the mini-game and the date are added automatically. This information is used to handle your request and reply to you. Legal basis: your consent (you submit the form yourself). Do not include any sensitive data.
Third-party services loaded by the pages
Flags are loaded from the flagcdn.com service, so your IP address is sent to it, as to any server your browser contacts. The photographs are hosted by the site itself. The Ko-fi link leads to a third-party site with its own privacy policy.
Retention periods
- Progress and language: until you erase them; the language cookie lasts one year.
- Your cookie choice: six months.
- Technical logs: according to the host's policy.
- Google Analytics: according to the duration configured in the tool, at most 25 months for the data.
- Reports: for as long as needed to handle them, then deleted.
Recipients and transfers outside the European Union
Data processed by Vercel Inc., Google and Tally may be transferred outside the European Union, notably to the United States, on the basis of the safeguards these providers rely on (EU–US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses). Game data is stored with Supabase (eu-west-1 (Ireland)).
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, use the "Report a problem" button or write to the address in the legal notice. The CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or your local authority, can also help if you believe your rights are not respected.
